How to play Memory Pairs

Choose Memory Pairs at SLTPPF for a browser session with its rules close at hand. The aim is straightforward: Match all eight pairs. Your result is the number of two-card turns used. This edition highlights a short learning break.

A short learning break

Choose one objective for this visit: understand the controls, complete a round, or recognise a common mistake. Progress does not need to be rushed.

Your goal

Match all eight pairs. Your result is the number of two-card turns used.

Step by step

  1. Turn over any face-down card.
  2. Choose a second card. Equal symbols stay visible.
  3. Unequal cards turn back after a short pause.
  4. Continue until every pair is visible.

Controls

Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch.

A useful example

Seeing a star at the top left and another star in the bottom row gives you a matching pair on a later turn.

Watch out for this

You cannot turn a third card while a mismatched pair is still being shown.
